I’m guessing you work at IBM. Upsell simply means listening to the client issues and figuring out what additional services you can provide them. Know your offering portfolio in and out and always keep the “yes, I can help you with that” hat on.

Do you already have a good relationship with the associate partner? 6 months is a long time, especially in consulting.
I suggest the following:
Build or strengthen your relationship.
Demonstrate that you are delivering strong client work.
Proactively discuss what sort of feedback you are looking for, then follow up and ask for it.
Share your professional goals with them.
You are the owner of your career, so don’t hesitate to ask for what you need!
