Fellow office Jews: are we putting up OOO emails for Rosh Hashana, or are we hoping people trust/believe/ignore us?

Put up an out of office if you can’t or don’t want to respond promptly to emails. I would say that’s the blanket policy for every holiday and vacay.

likesmart

I put an OOO. It’s not about wanting anyone to believe me. It’s about making sure whomever emails me is on notice I won’t be responding until my return.

like

Why would you not put an OOO message up if you’re going to be unavailable all day?

like

As a non-Jewish attorney, I think you should put an OOO. I would appreciate being across from that, and I would know not to call/email you more if I have a question for you lol. Happy Rosh Hashanah!

L’shana tovah! I did an out of office message

OOO all the way!!

I always put up an OOO. Not every client knows my religion. Most will respect my time, even if they don’t know why I am away.

I respect the time periods of worship for those that l know of, regardless of notification by attorneys. It is simply a matter of respect for others.

It’s hard to be motivated when rounds of layoffs happen and you see all your friends leave. But one thing that’s gotten me through all of this is working out. And when I say workout I mean the most pathetic, sad, barely completed beginner-level cardio dance routines. I’ve somehow forced myself to move while on lockdown and it’s somehow forced me to feel better. Whatever you’re doing, wherever you are: get up and move even if you don’t finish or end up going on a walk. Pls take care of yourself❤️

I don’t want to miss the right person because of my bias, so im wondering how many healthcare related AMs have healthcare/clinical experience… thanks in advance!

What do you do when you feel the goalpost has been/is being moved re: billable requirements? Like there's a spoken vs unspoken? I chose this job based on billables vs salary and what I'm being told I'm expected to do now is 20-30% (at least) > than what was initially agreed upon. Given my other life responsibilities, this is creating a huge strain & I feel like this is slowly getting harder & harder on my spouse & kids. I'm grateful to have lots of good work but not sure how to course correct.
