Hi all, recently in touch by Spotify recruiter for a Sec Engineer position for remote EU and was told that range was 60-80 out of base salary and equity. Had 2 years of security experience out of my 4 years. Was also told that there is no bonus scheme or no sign in bonus 😕 Not sure how I feel about this tbh.
What do you think?

So glad we hired BCG. Jokes aside, take the call if you’re free for a few minutes. As pointed out there’s a chance you have or don’t have the job
If you just recently completed the interviews. It's likely to be good news. Usually if they were to reject, they'd just send the rejection email or delay for weeks to ensure top candidate fully commits.
There's still a slight chance it could be negative news. Be enthusiastic but prepare yourself for either. I hope you get the news you desire.

It means you should tell them if you’re free to catch up for a few minutes today
You either got the offer, or m employer wants to pay you a lower salary. If you didn’t get the job, they would just email.
High 50% chances that you’ve got the job with a 50% probability of you not getting the job.
Using my magic 8-ball here, i think they want to catch up with you today for a few minutes if you're free...
I think it’s a typo for R u
Thanks just corrected

Why are consultants the most insecure people out there?
Truer words have never been spoken
I really really hate it when someone calls to give negative news. Its the most awful thing. For any recruiters out there, DONT DO THIS . If you want to have the human connection, first send the email with the bad news and then offer to have a conversation if the other person wants it. OP, I feel you. Hang in there. They have put you in a very uncomfortable position. I am keepign my fingers crossed for you that its good news!
Thanks thanks! Truly appreciate!
I think it will either be a neutral or negative. A positive outcome would not be communicated like this
I had a message like this once when they wanted me to talk with one more person. It had more to do with placement/alignment because of my industry experience. Just turned out another group needed someone too and they were going to figure it out internally based on my final interview.
I see! Makes sense!
What was the result of the call?
Got the job, thanks all!!!
I feel like if it was bad news the email might be more formal than that. Best of luck!
The only way to find out is… to catch up when you have a few minutes.
They too lazy to schedule somethinf
