I had interviewed for an internship position at EY for technology consultant program for summer 2022 and got a call where they extended an offer. I wanted to know if I can defer the internship offer to fall 2022 or a later start date after summer.
I apologize as I cannot reply to a comment or DM on this platform to anyone, but thanks for your answers in advance.

Don’t do an MBA right after undergrad
Why do you say that? I am just curious about your perspective :)

You should get experience before getting an MBA. No MBA worth getting will accept you with no full time experience
There are so many careers you can proceed to with that degree. I am an electronics engineer but I was able to break into consultancy. You can also do automotive and construction engineering jobs with the course. You can be a project manager or a project engineer. All you need is to sharpen your skills.

MBA is for career shift or better brand/network. You have no career to shift, and your BU brand/network is stronger than any MBA that will take you now. Get some good experience and target M7 schools after 2-5 years. An MBA outside of T15 or so is probably not worth the tuition, much less the time
I plan to work while getting an mba... planning to work on global supply chain ...but i feel like i should take a data science course bc that is where all the high paying jobs are

I wouldn’t recommend doing an MBA part time — most of the value of an MBA’s value is not in the content of the courses.
If you want to keep working I’d recommend something like Georgia Tech’s OMSA, which has data science and supply chain courses
