I have got my L2 Dependent Visa stamped for the US through the Wife's organization and she has booked the tickets for the both of us in the next weekend. I am currently unallocated in TCS and seeking projects in the same US location as my Wife. Can I travel to the US just like that and then continue my search within TCS from there or do I need any approvals to even fly in the first place?

I am worried because of the time crunch and will be glad to hear some points on this.

What is better hertz or Avis loyalty program? I have been on hertz (president circle status due to united status) and collected points a few free rental days now. I interviewed with capgemini for SAP ABAP role and my YOE is 4 years. Just 2 hours after my interview, I got a call from someone at Capgemini saying that I am selected.
They just asked my notice period and current location.I asked them, what is the next round going to be and they said that it is going to be salary discussion. But till now, no one has reached out to me.
Does it mean they got another candidate for same job?
If they get back to me, how much should I ask?

Planning a trip to Rome and Naples with day trips to Tivoli and Pompeii. Is 1 week enough? I feel like reading through 3/4 day Rome and 2 day Naples itineraries, the trip seems rushed. I have unlimited PTO but my SO is limited in time (but luckily he can work extra hrs and then use less PTO). I would say max we could do is 1.5 weeks but adding on 3-5 more days seems almost too much? Thoughts? For reference, I did Venice-Florence-Rome in a week and it seemed okay but it also wasn’t as planned out
