All of them.... the see where you gravitate. After 13 years of work, I’ve seen top tier at 3or 4 of the big American brands.

Marriott and spg now bonvoy has most properties across the world. If you are a traveler, I recommend bonvoy

I like Hyatt, but they don't have properties in every Tier 3 city like Marriott/Hilton/IHG. Personally, my favorite is still Marriott despite the Bonvoy madness. Lifetime Plat is just a matter of time if you're a regular traveler. I have Gold on Hilton and Spire on IHG as backups.

Yeah, sign up for all three and try them out. Did that with Marriott and Hilton though. Have officially stuck with Marriott and am now Titanium elite after six months of bouncing around

From a points perspective, Hyatt points are the easiest to maximize and Hilton the least (because of the dynamic award chart—it’s tied to the cash price vs a fixed redemption rate regardless of cash cost). Marriott loyalty is probably the most common in consulting.

I haven’t been working this year, in on client site and the client has chill timelines and I take advantage of that. I’m gliding through working 3 or max 4 hours a day, I don’t report to anyone on my project except my client and only give boss updates once a month. Do you think he knows of what I’m doing? What are the ways in which I can continue doing so without getting caught? Feel like I can milk this opportunity till wfh continues

Is taking a government consulting role a dead end if long term I want to stay in the private sector? I’m currently at a boutique risk firm (3500 employees) where I also do some transaction services. A friend is offering to refer me to a higher level valuation and transaction focused role within a B4 government & public sector practice. From a pure technical skill perspective this feels like a step up, but does moving to government and public sector position me worse than if I stay in risk?
