Also, I can’t be the only person who’s had this happen but just called my usual hotel and the guy at the front desk responded to my name with “dude! Shouldn’t you be home by now? Yeah I got you tonight"
Go seduce some chick at the airport bar, take her back to the lounge and close the deal. 👍🏼
Home you all get home safe.
I’m in the same boat stuck in Philly and praying tonight’s snow doesn’t cancel my 9am flight tomorrow
Same situation. Flight cancelled and getting home Sunday now 👎🤬
Hit up a movie. You should be stocked with a solid disk drive
Hit the lounge and chill.
Buy a book. I like the Jack Reacher series and they have the latest in most book stores (no need to have read the previous 23 of them...).
Yeah, get lounge access OP, 6 hours is gonna be tough otherwise.
Or as P2 suggested, go out and explore the city for the next couple of hours :)
In PHX if that means anything
Recent campus hire without that stockpile, but yeah I could just watch Netflix and relax. Just really don’t want to be sitting, wanna be laying down. Thanks for the suggestions
No delta lounge in PHX, $40 to enter non airline specific lounge... worth?
D1- sending positive vibes your way
Can you leave airport ? If so head to Scottsdale for din
You'll at least be able to eat and drink, try it out if it's not too crowded.
Already ate, went a little to hard in Scottsdale last night to think about drinking now. Really just want a place to lay down. Could have gotten a hotel tonight but there are no flights out tomorrow, earliest from PHX to ATL is Sunday morn
Stay in Scottsdale for the weekend. Go hiking tomorrow. Be hung over at the pool at the W.
@D1 looks like the deciding factor will be how far inland the snow comes, where the cutoff between significant snow nearer the coast and little to none further west sets up will be critical. PHL does have a sizable deicing capacity though, but as usual the airlines will aim to operate larger jets and be more likely to cancel smaller ones. Where are you heading?
OP, it’s still snowing in Atl and I wouldn’t count on getting in late tonight. There’s a snow advisory until tomorrow morning. If I were you, I’d find a hotel and stay there for the weekend. Even if you do get to Atl, the roads are icy and getting around is virtually impossible
