I know Liver King is out there but my roommate has been living by his “9 ancestral tenets” and it basically changed his life. Anyone else that follows something similar seen benefits? Seems like he’s rooted on well being and staying connected with the world around you. Even if you think he’s weird his YouTube video is well put together.

Track what you eat throughout the day. It might not be the meal immediately consumed before workouts. Nutrients earlier in the day may be affecting how you feel at the end of the day.
Are you sure it’s IBS (have you been diagnosed)? I thought I had IBS but it was a gluten allergy and a dairy sensitivity.
But yes, I would stick with lean, plain chick or fish and cruciferous vegetables.
They a week without dairy, then next without wheat, then next without spices etc.
Maintain a diary to see what may be causing your IBS.
I have started to eat a big breakfast and lunch, have a quick snack after work, work out, then have a protein shake and maybe a light carby snack (~200 cals) for dinner. It still feels weird/wrong to “skip” dinner but I’m not left hungry because I just fulfil my calories earlier in the day
