Any recommendations for healthy restaurant dinner options that are easy on the digestive track? I usually workout after dinner, and have had some pretty bad bouts of IBS afterwards.

Track what you eat throughout the day. It might not be the meal immediately consumed before workouts. Nutrients earlier in the day may be affecting how you feel at the end of the day.

Are you sure it’s IBS (have you been diagnosed)? I thought I had IBS but it was a gluten allergy and a dairy sensitivity.

But yes, I would stick with lean, plain chick or fish and cruciferous vegetables.

They a week without dairy, then next without wheat, then next without spices etc.

Maintain a diary to see what may be causing your IBS.

I have started to eat a big breakfast and lunch, have a quick snack after work, work out, then have a protein shake and maybe a light carby snack (~200 cals) for dinner. It still feels weird/wrong to “skip” dinner but I’m not left hungry because I just fulfil my calories earlier in the day

Has anyone been successful in negotiating the schedule on a global pregnancy bill? My provider won't bill by visit and split the global cost into four payments all due by the 28th week. I don't understand how that's legal since it is so off the calendar of services and crosses calendar years (and insurance coverage), where most costs are incurred at the end of pregnancy with increased visit frequency and delivery.

Anyone get very depressed and anxious specifically around their birthday?? Comes around every year and it’s hard because people are asking me how I’m going to celebrate or what the plan is. It’s about a month from now and every year I feel more anxious and depressed around it, I’m only 23. Wish I could just time travel to later in the year or something.

My wife and I are starting a first cycle of IVF. Given how expensive IVF is/can be, wondering if anyone has lessons learned on the insurance front—understanding it varies by plan, of course. I thought the power reserve on DJ41 Ref126333 was about 70hours, but I noticed it’s about 40-48 hours on mine. Wear mine about every other day, but not on weekends and then Monday morning when I go to wear it, it’s dead and have to wind it. Anyone else seeing this?

Question about fiber.

Last year, I was diagnosed with IBS following a few years of unexplained bloating, chronic upset stomach, and frequent bowel movement.

Because of the diagnosis, I’ve cut back on caffeine to only 1 cup of coffee per day about an hour after waking up before a workout.

Diet is relatively balanced. High protein so I take some enzyme with fiber supplement. Fiber seems to make the IBS bloating worse which on a daily basis is pretty irritating.

Any suggestions?

Help me get over my covid anxiety: had plans with a friend but they got exposed to covid. Got a neg rapid test but feel like they have a sore throat and still want to hang. Given rapids don’t necessarily detect omicron plus the symptoms, I’m a bit concerned. I’m WAAAY more cautious than most when it comes to covid (not doing indoor events yet, still masking). We’d be outdoors anyways, so do I put my anxiety aside and risk it or ask them to get a PCR and just postpone to next week?
