I am working in dev and getting good exposure of Azure. Other things EY1 is correct . WLB is very good, better than TCS. If you continue as engineer and want to work in product based later then join. I dont know what is consultant, hence will not comment.
WLB is really good in CT and hikes are also good along with bonuses.
Learning opportunities are also good.
Client Technology is not same as other consulting oriented service lines, it’s not client facing. So you do internal work and support client serving folks.
As it’s non-client facing you can get good wlb mostly. Growth really depends on level you join, lower levels you can expect decent growth but as you grow senior you stagnate. Growth and rewards will never be same as consulting. Depends on what you looking for and what stage of your career you are at.
