You are the sacrifice we need to bring down inflation I reckon
I heard they just pay you in loans. There's no way it can be sustainable to stay there long term.
I’m confused by what you mean
What did they offer? I am not sure if BA but seniors go to 130s and leads 160s
Lol… a former GSE low balling you?! For a real answer though, low offer vs industry would be expected at Fannie. They pay decent for technical roles so could depend on the group you’re in but don’t go there expecting high degree of upward mobility and hefty raises each year vs consulting. Very interesting business though, you’ll learn a lot and it could open up a lot of other options.
Corps are scummy too. If you misnegotiate or dont negotiate into a better position, they'd rather lose you than renegotiate. Greedy business
As others said, go as high as possible during salary negotiations. It’ll be very hard to renegotiate later on. Upward mobility is also very slow….
