Anyone from Boston Consulting Group Boston Consulting Group (BCG) working in non-consulting - Technology/Engineering/Global Services?
How's the work life balance? Glassdoor reviews are full of "long working hours" and hence wanted to know if it's the same with non-consulting folks as well?
How far is it true across the organisation?
Please help me shed some light to decide.
Thanks.
Is demand forecasting still a problem to be solved in today's FMCG industry? Or are all the possible solutions already there? ??????!?????!???????
Previous 360. Around 175k miles, multiple international trips, around 45k spend. Literally did the exact same this year and not 360 anymore so....
360 - 200k miles and $75k in spend
Yes. Delta tier above diamond
Oh, and what location?
GS based out of EWR. Think my dollars were around 90 to 100k and my miles were way up there close to 300k. Mostly flying long haul international but some domestic in there too. There's a thread on flyer talk with a lot more info.
Wizarding world of Harry Potter?
CK. Around $50K in spend last year. About 100k in flown miles
^correct
GS- 8 million miles. Don't even want to know dollar spend
At OP, I am in one of the bigger hubs. Miles really don't matter, it's spend and profitability. If you look at my spend and miles flown, I paid an average of 50 cents per mile which is quite profitable for an airline. Most people average between 5 to 10 cents per mile flown.
High spend rate was due to flying very short flights that were only flown by business travelers. Think $1000 round trip for 500 miles. That coupled with 3 to 4 international business class flights did it.
Invite only frequent flier. Global Services. Concierge Key. Etc. Qualifying dollars and miles. People are always trying to figure out what it takes because they don't publish the requirements and change them year to year.
All - thanks for info. Will also check flyertalk, but interesting info!
@S&, that seems so low (and achievable) - is your main airport one of their hubs?
What airline is 360? Delta?
GS is based on spend. My guess is 60 to 70k a year to get it.
I thought it was based on top spend in any given market, so being in a smaller hub would help, but that's partly what I'm wonderinfb
Thanks for the info
