I started a full time in-house design job that pays extremely well. I barely have to work at all. This makes me very confused since I kept hearing stories of people working 60+ hr weeks as designers at ad agencies. Teaching has taken over so much. I’m a wife and mother and still have a home life, but there is nothing outside of work and home. I have no friends, no other activities, no escape. Covid restrictions do not help. I know it’s not healthy to only focus on everyone else, but I’m not sure what to do about it.
