Yes please try to make time for yourself every day even if it’s just five minutes to engage in your go to stress relief. Take time to fill your bucket back up so that you can fill other’s. I know it’s difficult because as women we give our all to taking care of others but we must be sure to take care of ourselves as well. Hope things get better.

I can totally sympathize!!! I have been working virtually, and the line between work and home has gotten very blurry! I have had to physically turn the laptop off and force myself to take time for myself and make sure to have quality time with my kiddo. I am loving livestream concerts! Lots of free concerts, but I have paid for a few as well, and have loved seeing artists performing from their homes! I love being creative as well, and my daughter and I will pull out the craft table and paint or make cards to send to people. On weekends we go to different parks and enjoy picnics outdoors and dropping off care packages (including homemade cards or paintings) with loved ones! We love to play games too! Clue Guess Who is my current favorite! Hopefully once you take some time to try out a few things, you’ll reignite some personal passions!!! Hang in there!!!! 😊

And, now is a great time to reach out to some friends or acquaintances you haven’t talked to in a while! They may be feeling the same way as you and would welcome connecting! 💕

You have just described the current crises all of us are facing. I have started simple. Puzzles. They are easy to get into. Stop - start whenever you want. Addicting. You can do it with more then one person if you want or not. The picture/scene is up to you.

It is rough. I am sorry this is your current reality. The previous comments are great suggestions. We have to be willing to reach out to others.

Nature--Sunshine on your skin; Walk, let's begin; Craft something soft--I started felting (order supplies); and READ [I like romance novels--Nora Roberts]

It’s hard, as a teacher it is so easy to bring it home. I personally worry about my students and how they are going to navigate this crazy world. I know it’s easier said than done, but carve a little time for just you. Maybe it is a 15 minute walk or get Starbucks on the way home. We all need something that is just for us!

Great idea. I am learning you have to factor in self care or you will be depleted and no good for anyone.

Inspired by the stroller question from yesterday: I’m having my first baby in December, and I don’t know what kind of stroller to get! A few things top of mind for me: I’m 4’10” so don’t want it to be huge and I want to be able to see over it, I would like it to work from newborn up to toddler, I’ll probably have a second within 2 years so want it to be convertible. Planning for everyday use in a small city. What are your recommendations?

Earlier this week I was so busy I only pumped three times when I normally pump 6 times. Since then my milk supply fell drastically where I only pump 2 oz each session even if I pump 30 minutes when before I’d be pumping 3.5-5 oz in 15, and it’s been 4 days already. I know it’s silly but I feel sad thinking I won’t be able to feed my baby sufficiently with breastmilk anymore. I’ll supplement but I felt happy being able to provide full breastmilk before and feel a sense of loss now. Just venting

Anyone dealt with your sibling getting divorced and the SIL fallout? My brother is going though a divorce and it is ugly. She is saying he is “unfit” (he is not). He has a 32 yr old who I am very close to, and a 12 yr old who is my goddaughter. His ex was my bff and now she says he is an unfit father and trying to take away his parental rights. I am stunned. It has fractured us beyond what I thought possible. Do I stay neutral for the nieces? Do I shout at the top of my lungs he is a good guy?

Deciding on a stroller as a FTM. Read a lot of the comments in this thread. I’ll be having a winter baby in a very snowy place and won’t be doing walking outside until baby is maybe 5 months. I’m not sure I’d need a bassinet. What stroller would you recommend? If Uppababy, is it still worth it even though the Bassinet isn’t really going to be used?

HR professionals- are you requiring a negative test before any employees return to work after COVID? Some had very mild symptoms and one was asymptomatic. I’ve read not to push for a Dr.’s note and some people can still be positive yet not contagious. Right now I’m following the cdc guidelines of 10 days from first symptom, fever free for 24 hrs and improvement of symptoms.

What about for tier 2? - Is it feasible for MBB (or Tier 2)to be hired in the US directly from Europe, or is it better to transfer internally to your own company? Thanks to all
