I've been an administrative catering/sales assistant in the hospitality industry for 15 years. Unfortunately, I've had a lot of health issues and am finding it hard to work due to pain, stress, fatigue etc. Does anyone know of any opportunities that pay decently for those with disabilities in the DC/MD/VA area? I'm scared of loosing everything because i canr keep up with the physical demands. Now folks are leaving and it's more on me with no additional monies being offered.

Used to work as an insurance agent and we had a nurse who had a clinic in the office where she would do all the check ups for the applicants.

I have ADHD and executive dysfunction, resulting in horrid eating habits my whole life. My body just doesn’t tell me it is hungry and pre-pregnancy, I could go days without eating. My husband is the same way. I am panicked about staying on top of baby feedings and noticing patterns. The Pocket Nanny tracker where you press the button of the feed, diaper change, etc, seems to be popular but doesn’t log it anywhere. Has anyone heard of these and have a recommendation for one that logs as well?

Hi all! I just got a Senior tax associate role in industry ($85k, MCOL; 17% more than I currently make). Enjoyed the people I interviewed with; my only hesitation is that the company itself has had a rough couple of years (healthcare company, had a few bad acquisitions that they’ve since shed off). Their busy season is just January and early February, with their team working until about 7 PM during the week and a few Saturdays. I’m interested, but it’s also my 1st offer; what would you do?
