Hello everyone! I recently pivoted from working in advertising to working at an early-stage fintech startup. I'm looking to speak with business finance leaders who manage corporate cash and credit lines for their companies to learn more about your tools and your approach to cash management. I'll buy you lunch/coffee for your time.
If interested shoot me an email me at kathryn@crescent.app! And thank you!!
I’m interviewing for final round of the entry level area manager position at Amazon. I’m working on multiple stories related to the leadership principles. Can anyone provide me some tips regarding the role?
There are 16 leadership principle and I’m thinking of creating some stories around each but the thing that concerns me is what if the questions they ask are related to the same principle and I might have already used up my stories. Something like that. Can anyone please help? Amazon

At kpmg, but prob same as ey (if you’re talking about FDD). It’s better than audit but all in all depends on goals
Exit ops really aren’t niche
Ya it’s better than audit. And if you don’t like it, you can switch to FAAS more easily than other internal transfers. This is because TAAG is under FAAS
Will say you’ll only do accounting policy/research stuff in TAAG but it’s pretty much remote. It’s good experience to have, but I couldn’t see myself doing it long term. I think a rotation would be a good happy medium.
All the people I know in TAAG love it though. Only people I know who’ve asked to switch to faas from TAAG are staff.
TAAG is fully remote too
I work in TAAG, most of the people that have been in it for a decent time (a few years) really like it. It’s very much technical accounting focused. You learn a ton, but if you want broader exit opportunities outside of technical accounting, core FAAS is likely better.
For people who like complex accounting and unique “figure it out” transactions it’s a good place to be.
Love to hear that. I’m in core FAAS but I’ve been thinking about a transfer since TAAG is more in line with my interests and I’m looking for better WLB, so it’s good to hear that’s been your experience.
