Tata Consultancy Infosys Cognizant Wipro I have completed all the technical and HR rounds and salary discussion, documents submission also done. But all of sudden got mail from hr saying that my profile is kept on hold. Any possibility that I will receive offer letter or it will be in hold forever? Meantime can I attend interview for other positions in hcl?

I recently interviewed for L7 EM at Google and had 4 great interviews and one not so great system design. I submitted external referrals all of which gave great feedback. The recruiter said the next step is team match/interviews and then the HC. Anyone in a similar situation? What was the result? Google

Rising Star
So many interviews. So so many. But I got the job haha.
Rising Star
2 case studies and probably 7-10 calls.
The firm I accepted the offer with had me do 3 rounds. One company had me speak with 8 different people.
Mostly behavioral and one technical with a case study.
I interviewed with a few companies for data engineer roles. Most were 3-4 rounds:
1) HR (not needed if hiring manager reached out directly)
2) Hiring manager
3) Tech screen
4) Final round speaking with several members for 4-5 hours total
Jesus christ, these responses are insane. In the vast majority of cases employers and potential employers have us by the balls unfortunately, and most know it. At least you work in B4 though and the job market for accountants has been hot for several years now, so hopefully you’ll get something soon. I have a friend with a far less valuable white collar skillset who hates his current job, and he can’t get an offer for the life of him. It’s just a numbers game really, companies have an opening, they interview anywhere from 5-20 people, and usually only 1 gets hired. Unless you want to go into audit or tax at a new firm haha.
8 people - 2 rounds plus hr screen and written assignment
8 rounds - 7 zoom conversations and one case study
Wow - sounds like you're already working for them! That's a large number of people but at least you get to see more of the team to see if you like them as well.
I’m currently interviewing and the amount of interviews is ridiculous. I’ve spoken to 5 people so far at one firm and am waiting to hear next steps. Previously, I met four people and then they ghosted me (which I think is really unprofessional, but that’s another thread!). I agree that Zoom is making firms interview happy. I feel like saying — this isn’t an executive role!! I don’t need to meet every single person I might come in contact with!
My exact thoughts! I am going for an entry level role and the rounds just don’t stop. On top of that these interviews have been with the same people over and over
I am helping to hire someone. They will have:
-2 zoom interviews (1 hr and 1.5 hrs)
-2 in person interviews (1.5 hrs and 1 hr)
4 rounds and 8 people with the company I accepted an offer with. Insane.
I just accepted a job after doing 1 phone round and 2 zoom rounds there. I spoke with 5 people in total.
On the other hand, you don't have to go into an office and sit through 3-4 interviews in a row, take time off of work, etc.
IMO current climate as long as you've got hybrid or WFH is really much better for job seekers who already have a job.
8 people 4 hours total non stop zoom call
High end would be 8. Low end is two plus HR/recruiting screening internally.
3 rounds is typically, also had a 5 rounds one
