Hi Everyone, I am trying to apply for a Technical Support role at Dropbox I’m entering all the required fields but there seems to be an issue, when I hit submit after filling the form, it doesn’t submit and throws error ‘Looks like you left this blank! Please fill out this required field’ when all the fields are entered already (I have checked so many times, and filled the form from scratch several times too). Anyone from Dropbox who can put me in touch with HR or suggest what I should do next?

Yes taking calls all day can be boring but it can be fun talking to different people.
A google search is going to give you all the details you need 😎
Aww! There's no turning back. Kidding. You still have the choice tho. Hang in there, OP!
Started at my firm taking calls before moving “corporate”… the interpersonal experience gained by managing dozens of conversations per day as well as the product & client knowledge you gain is immeasurable.
It’s shocking how much some social skills & the ability to talk outside of the theoretical can set you apart.
It sucks & doesn’t help you now, but if you’re a go getter you’ll be totally set in a few years.
Really depends on where you are, far too often people get trapped on the phones forever as there’s no easy path out of call center to corporate
what u mean this is ho?
I’m glad I am no the only one hating the job!
Oh man, I don't envy you. I worked in an internal call center at BofA Investments years ago, and it was hands down one of the worst jobs I've ever had. Non-stop calls that would just beep in your ear and you'd be on the line (no actual answering, just auto-connected). Between the miserable brokers who would call in and use us as their personal punching bags and the metrics they used to measure our performance, there were days I serious thought of just quitting outright with no job lined up. Fortunately, it ended up serving as a stepping stone for another back-office position that I loved. Hopefully this will be the case for you as well. Good luck and hang in there!
Not I was not
Ive worked at a few of the big firm call centers. Would highly NOT recommend. It was horrible for work/life balance, mental health, etc. I got out of it like a month ago and my life has improved dramatically.
I’m actively trying to get out of it and this is my first job in the industry and because of lack of experience and connections I am having a hard time moving to something else.
How's your jaw? Lol. Sorry, but yeah taking calls all day and talking to people you don't even see is the most boring job ever, second to accounting.
This is a soul taking position!! I drink 8-10 water bottle all day….
There are two types of people I think.... Lol - I am definitely in the "that would be awful" camp myself.
I worked in call centers for 8 years, it is hard to get out once you get in. I had take a huge pay cut to get out of working in call centers. You build up lot in anxiety and not worth it. I would highly advise against taking that first call center job, go work at Target instead.
This 100% and I’m glad that a few months in I realized this is not for me…
It has been absolute hell, I can not wait to quit. I’ve never had a job which gave me nightmares and the Sunday scaries start at 5:15 PM on Friday night
Yeah it gives me anxiety not knowing what the next call is going to be.
I just put in my 2 weeks on Thursday. I feel like I can breathe after that place sucked out my soul. They have amazing benefits but they are much needed. “Oh, here’s some health insurance for all the anxiety we will give you, and here’s some free therapy sessions too because all the pills you are on won’t be enough.” Worst job EVER!!!
Amen to that I feel your pain. I am also planning on moving to another role “Internally” or a new company this 2023. I cannot take another call is driving me crazy and the anxiety of not knowing what the next call is going to be is not healthy.
