For those who have gone to industry, what size RSU grants have you seen for accounting, finance, or tax hires?

My friend went to industry as a senior accountant and got $30k spread over 4 years

like

$100k over three years as a manager for sign on. Additional with annual raise

like

My base is $120k with 20% bonus. Historically our bonus pays out at >150% each year. I think my base is a little low tbh.

$25k worth granted at sign on and per year thereafter, subject to a vesting schedule and annual adjustment for personal and company performance.

Are there any industries outside of tech actually giving RSUs at manager level or below?

Pharma, biochem, semi conductor, any tech related

My dilemma… I am an injury adjuster at a carrier experiencing high inventory that’s barely manageable. A competitor offered a higher salary and manageable workload. BUT, I would like to get into underwriting. I applied for UW position w/ a different carrier and they’ve made an offer. It’s lower than my current salary and significantly lower than what I’d make by taking the first offer. Do I take the high salary and stay in claims or go for UW in hopes it will be best in long run?
