Following. Maybe post in the larger law bowl for more eyes? This bowl gets little action.

Friend of mine went from associate at a white-shoe firm in NYC (~$400k) to a $175k-ish state agency gig and seems happy with the move. Fewer hours, cheaper city etc

Oh and an acquaintance claimed her husband took a pay cut of like $300k to go in-house (and he had been on track for making partner)

Any advice on shifting from association law to commercial real estate in FL?

I've been applying to jobs for months but every position wants at least 2yrs of experience in real estate transactions, usually way more. Seems like the only way to get the experience is to have nailed a big law gig right out of school and get put into that practice.

-Ability for the Sponsor/Fund to invest directly, indirectly and in equity, debt, Pref, etc.
To me this seems extremely cumbersome and would require multiple classes of (cont’d)
