Forgive the annoying question, if you had a lump sum of money to invest into bitcoin right now. Would you just buy it at the rate today? Or possibly wait for potential correction.

Not annoying at all! If you don't know for sure that the price will increase or decreas, then a solid plan is to divide the sum into a few parts and invest over a fixed period. For example, divide into one-eight parts and invest once a week, over the course of two months. This is a good way to spread out the risk and the emotions of the market volatility.

Are you trading or on for the long haul? I don't know anything about trading - but you will eventually get wrecked. Buy now or buy tomorrow. It will be a rounding error in 5+ years.

Hello I just started my first job (I’m 22) and I need to set up a 401k for matching with my company. I’m really confused how this works because I want to try to hit the IRS maximum of $19,500 for Roth contributions this year. Maybe it’s too late in the year now, but it’s asking me to pick my desired contribution % per pay period, but I’m not sure how much to do because it says it’ll kick in 1-2 pay cycles and I don’t even know when the next pay check comes yet. Any tips would be great

$530k HHI, $250k cash on hand, $1.2M investments/retirement. Plan to buy $800-900k house as our first home, but thinking of the best approach given rates today. My thinking is that we (i) put $200k+ down and get a 5/1 ARM. (ii) put everything we save moving forward toward paying down the principal (after maximizing retirement accounts). Should be able to do $100k per year. (iii) If rates go down below 4.5ish % for 15 year fixed, refinance and stop aggressive payment. Thoughts on this approach?

Any tips for countering the $130k offer for more using the other potential offer while not risking a complete withdrawal of the current offer?
