Does Deloitte file premium processing for h1b?

Meeting with a recruiter at one of the FAANG companies. I won’t be able to move jobs because of H1b /GC at least for the next year. Any idea if I should start off with that or should I just try to understand the work that they have been doing?

Aside from short term emergency declarations where visas are handed out, has anyone found any countries that provide a visa due to a skill shortage, or carriers that offer sponsorship for senior insurance professionals? Curious mostly about Europe and Oceania.

If that gets denied, my plan is to travel to Canada and re enter US immediately on B1/B2 visa (already have valid B1/B2 stamp) so that I'll get time to figure out things here in the US (sell my stuff, handle my bank accts etc). For folks who recently got their EAD, how long from the time of filing your I-485 did you get it?

Started the internal GC process in October 2018. Today I-485 status changed to "we ordered your new card." My jail free card is finally on the way I guess. Hope everyone with pending I-485 gets your GC soon!

Scenario: US visa expired in 2021. Applied for a Canadian tourist visa to hopefully go for H-1B stamping in Canada once they open appointments.
Biometrics completed. Haven’t received any comm regarding my tourist visa approval. My partner already revived the visa long ago even if we allied together. Could it be because my US visa has expired? The reason I gave for applying for visitor visa was just for tourism purposes.
