Geez, the policy is simple. Work from the office if you want, or work from home if you want to be belittled, looked down upon, passed over for promo, and get lower raises than your in-office peers.
This isn't rocket science, I don't know what's so hard to understand.
Idk I’m feeling like that will happen. Especially at the staff/senior level
Building a Better Working from the Office World
This is ridic. EY has basically the same policy as PwC. Work from home if you want, come in if you want. Get back to work people!
I thought pwc did say wfh?

Why the actual F does adjustment matter anyway? It’s only fair. The worker gets to choose where they get to live, and in exchange the firm adjusts their salary to match COL. If it’s a downward adjustment, it’s still a win-win as the firm saves money, and the worker gets to live where they want, and is no worse off.
What I’d like to know is what’s up with this June 2022 date of “re-evaluation” that’s floating around. In one article, they said they’re not planning on this being short-term, but elsewhere I’m hearing that they’ll re-evaluate in June 2022. How would that even work? Hire on droves of remote people, who switched mostly for the privilege of living where they want, and then just make them move again?
Post is confusing, wfh or no wfh?
Huh? That was not my understanding from the all hands lol
The whole discussion was about differentiating us from PwC's method. We different.
Our policy didnt change at all. Idk what yall talking about. We work based on our teams needs, whether that's in person(vaccination required) or remotely. Theres literally nothing that changed.

No, the big aspect of P’s announcement is live anywhere in CONUS, not indefinite WFH.
Regardless E is doing neither.

No WFH?
No, they aren't saying that
That’s absolutely not true lol
@Partner 1 exactly. This is the better option. And I’m sure this is what PWC is doing and what the other 2 of 4 will implement if they haven’t already.
I attended the call and they mentioned you can work from anywhere and it depends on your team. I also messaged in side chat… i am working in A location but want to move to B location, I do not need to be in office or client location. So can move ? They told you need to contact your supervisor for that ! Not sure whats the use of this model and no clear cut info and felt waste of joining the call for a hour !
