Hi All,
I joined Tech Mahindra for 5 days only and didn't find suitable timing for my project and emailed resignation mail to manager and HR. After that HR asked me to resign over portal but at the same time blocked my portal. After requesting many times they didn't unblock my portal and pretended like they want to unblock but there is some issue going on and marked my profile absconded. I have cleared fnf but they are not providing reliving letter but added pf amount also. What to do?

That is great. Congrats on finding something wonderful. You are still young enough to settle in and make great friends there, the job will also help you gain a sense of community.
I would take it, be smart about the bonus/ stock criteria if you can push a little.
Good luck! Sounds like you are ready for your an awesome next chapter.
I’m 53. Been in a very senior role at my large agency for a long time. I have a great track record but I won’t make CEO or C-level bc the top spots are taken by other long timers. I’m interviewing for a CEO role of a mid-sized agency right now. It’s now or never. I love my agency but don’t want to regret not looking at options. I do think Creatives suffer age discrimination but same with other roles. You’re smart to consider this. But make sure this will be a safe place to land. It will be hard to flip back at our age.
just do it!

Well, I’m over 60 and still plugging. Have a nice network of creative talent in similar situations, and they’re still going. I think going client side is terrific—while Mark Reade’s comments were heinous, he’s reflecting the prevailing view—stupid, but this is more about “buy cheap because we don’t really get paid for better” economics. My best advice: you’re only done when you say you’re done. It’s like a down stock market—you only lose money when you sell.
Thank you! I actually turned it down this week. Going to keep pushing. Decided I’m not done. 🙌🏼
Sounds like a nice opportunity. Make sure you’ll still be inspired by the work you’ll be doing. Don’t overlook the importance of passion and motivation in your well-being.
