No point in applying for jobs. Ppl get jobs from knowing ppl. You’re better off asking for 1 on 1s and finessing your way in through a reco
There’s some truth to what A1 said, but “no point in applying” is a stretch in my opinion.
AI has made it easier than ever to customize your resume and add a cover letter, so employers are getting spammed with thousands of low quality applications.
Employers meaning ATS
^agree with Deloitte. But also, LinkedIn has made it super easy to apply too. I imagine an astounding percentage of people who hit the apply button on those jobs are wholly unqualified. It also suggest jobs im unqualified for. Too many “nos” for job posters to send.
I recommend reaching out to someone(s) at that agency/company. It never worked for me 😅 but that’s what people tell me.
(Assuming Linkedin) I also work a little harder on job postings that take me to another site to apply like some Publicis agencies make you do. I figure the drop off is big when that’s the case
