We use Rippling. No complaints aside from their onboarding being a bit more manual
Just coming here to say I really like TriNet. Daily intuitive UI and great support from their team that is always available
Rippling for the win! I've been using then for 5+ years with two companies. We use ALL of their products, including their ATS and their Time + Attendance tracking for hourly employees. Love that they have so many integrations, their account managers are awesome! Highly recommend.
Thank you for sharing! Are you under their PEO or ASO service model?
Not a fan of Rippling. 1/ Onboarding is highly manual. And they're super secretive about how cooperative they'll be when you want to migrate from Rippling to another platform. 2/ Not user-friendly. All configs are nested, which drives me crazy. I like a tool so easy to use, you don't need to watch hours of training modules to use it. 3/ Rippling works like an SSO layer on top of your existing SSO. If your company doesn't have an SSO, this might be OK. If you do, this is crazy bad, ask your IT manager why.
Thank you for the input! We currently don’t have SSO, so this was being sold as a positive addition.
TriNet is good
Used Rippling and as a Canadian employer navigating the US employment landscape, their reps were incredibly helpful.
Rippling.
We started using them originally to track all of our company computers. (IT did half the work for me by entering all the employees - haha).
We use so many plug-ins. Know that it can get costly - every time you find something you'd like to use there is typically a cost to add it on.
Negotiate - the price isn't always the price, especially if it's near the end of the year. :)
I dig it - we have about 120 employees globally and are taking advantage of the EOR (employer of record) for our people in Europe. We also have subsidiaries in Canada and the UK and run those payrolls directly thru Ripp, along with our US payroll. Medical, dental, HSA, 401K, and pensions are all integrated.
Ripp has a great "Reports" feature.
There will be a bit of a learning curve. You can't do it all at once. And once you've figured one thing out, they'll add something new. They're growing their platform weekly.
I'd be lost without it.
Thank you for your feedback, appreciate it!
Just curious, why are you moving away from Paychex as a PEO provider? Depending on your issues with them, different companies may be a better fit for what you’re looking for.
As our organization and needs grow, we seem to be outgrowing their platform/capabilities. They also have not been proactive with multi-state compliance issues. Additionally, our healthcare costs are through the roof, so looking at different providers/open market (failed to mention we’ve been with Paychex for over 10 years, so it’s time to look at other options).
We moved from Insperity to Employer Flexible.
If you don’t mind sharing, why did you move away from Insperity?
I heard good things about JustWorks as a PEO. Just sharing it as another option if you haven’t yet considered it.
