Last, what skills do most employers value? In my experience, this dictates 2 optimal jumping off points:
(a) 2-3 years in. Consulting "tool kit" is solid
(b) ~1-2 year into Manager. Employers value experience managing people.

I spoke with a recruiter about roles in general but it’s been a month now since he last replied. I followed up two weeks ago but no response. Is this typical? I’m taking it as not interested or declined for roles I sent.
