I was approached on LinkedIn for an early career recruiting role in DFW, TX. I don't have direct experience, but I have the university experience/connections from working in career services. This is the first time I've considered work outside of higher education. I said my salary expectations are minimum $90k and that didn't seem to be an issue. Am I asking too little, too much? How many interviews is too many? I’ve done 5 one on ones with different people in the practice group. They want me to talk to a few more, but I’m frustrated. It’s so hard to find time to schedule these things and the associates don’t seem to understand I can’t just take them in the middle of the work day at work. Recruiter thinks it’s a good sign. Was interviewing with a firm and soon after receiving an offer, learned of bad culture/toxic partners in the practice group from a couple of associates who recently lateraled from the firm. I turned the offer down. A partner that I clicked with while interviewing reached out asking me why I turned down the offer. Should I be honest and relay what I heard?

3 YOE in a big 4/accenture firm. Most of my consulting projects have been in data science/analytics, data engineering, & digital marketing. I have also heavily used R, Python, PowerBI, Tableau, SQL, etc & some digital analytics tools such as adobe analytics

Apart from data science (which is pretty competitive), what type of roles at FAANG or big tech can I get with my experience? Or would anyone with a similar background share where or what they exited to?

Just got another rejection... Is exiting to FAANG or MB really this hard? Trying to go tech.. or mbb, but not getting anywhere. It seems like every time I log into LinkedIn the people who are “starting new positions” are people who already had jobs in the first place. I’m honestly ready to just give up.
