Now how to convey this to recruiters and are they ok to take interview for frontend developer, how much experience can be considered and what salary can be expected?

I used to work at PwC. My understanding is that recruiter only recruit for specific roles, means the recruiter interviewing you for an audit role won’t be able to get you into CMAAS. If you know you want to go to CMAAS, I would try to connect with CMAAS recruiters. Talking to audit recruiter and then telling them you’re actually interested in CMAAS is kinda wasting everyone’s time.
That’s not true we have plenty of people coming in with 1-2 years of audit experience as high performers

Isn’t advisory different than audit?
I meant more so that if the work is substantially different what makes OP think they will be a good candidate, be able to do the work, and actually like it?
What did you apply for? I think it really depends on what practice you applied for
Tbh I don’t think CMAAS is hiring rn. We’re still pretty dependent on deal flow and while we’re doing ok with our cornerstone clients and smaller projects things are definitely slow.
I’ve been told not to work >40 hours because they’d rather add another body in because we have excess capacity.
