Honestly my top reason for staying here so far is the people, everyone from Analysts up to MDs.I have rarely met people I don’t like working with and everyone is very friendly not an ego heavy environment.
Perks: Average across the board, great 401k match (6%) , 15% stock discount (stocks been doing great for a long time), avg insurance.
Downside: public firm which means cash goes to shareholders before it comes to employees for bonuses
I left because of the culture, lots of cliques, lack of leadership, lack of mentoring. I could go on and on, I was there for 3 years
I joined because of the culture and the people. Folks here aren’t as heartless and won’t shun you for not working 70 hour weeks. You can speak up here and be heard. Highly recommend ACCN if you’re a woman. We have SO much going on here and bug initiatives to hire and retain women. Guys are actually kind of scared of us lol. For once it’s an advantage and not working against you
I've always liked the people at Accenture for being very down to earth, far more than MBB and more than a lot of other mid-tier firms
OP's offer is in Talent & Organization as a C
I’ve stayed because of the people. Don’t get me wrong there will be people you will not get along with or like. That’s okay coz you’ll have ppl you’ll really like. I’ve made some straight up homies out here from Consultants to MDs. Offshore folks are good too..my team before I still talk to and I’d vouch for them.
Analyst here. So far, I like every single person I work with on my project. Coworkers are super chill and great people to hang out with after work. Also, it feels like everyone has each other's backs.
Accenture is generally great. If you are confident in who you are, what you deliver, and what you want from the company, you can mostly make your career how you want it. T&O in particular is a great place to be.
PL 1 no mandatory holding period. You can sell right away and make a quick buck. I believe it's a Max of 15K a year. That you can put in.
As with all things Acn, and hence my initial question, it depends on what group you’re in. Within strategy I definitely think we’re more humble than our other competitors but we certainly have a culture of working long hours. I will say none of my peers have ever been cutthroat like I’ve heard of st other companies and we generally all support and care for our team mates
What group?
How does the stock discount work? Is there a cap on how much you can buy? Mandatory holding period?
extremely disappointed with last year's bonus and pay raise....but like others have pointed out from earlier posts - people i worked with and currently working with are super friendly and nice. if they use that we didn't hit the organic growth again this year, im taking my talent to either pwc or deloitte
