I have been given a verbal offer of 145k base for a Sr. Associate role as Data Analytics Lead. The offer doesn’t come with any kind of bonuses or stocks.
I have a Masters and 5+ years of exp and my current comp is 115.5k + approx 5k bonus + ~20k in stocks (yearly refreshes) which makes my total current comp to 140k.
Is it worth taking the offer for increase in just the base?
What are my chances of negotiating into a VP level role with at-least 155k?

Cool, thanks
Question, I currently have the CSP and was planning to downgrade it in order to signup for reserve. They charged me the annual fee for the preferred a few months ago, do you know if I get a portion of the fee back when I downgrade my preferred card?
$450 fee, $300 credits that automatically apply to travel, tons of travel benefits, lots of points in the signup bonus, easy to earn a lot of points
^$450 annual fee, but you get a $300 travel credit the first year and another $300 travel credit the second year. The other benefits of the card are better than potentially any I've ever seen.
5 credit cards per 24 months
Me too op!
haha same here - just got approved!!
D OP - why pay for vacation when you can use your points
@D1 Because I use my points smartly and refuse to have lower than 2cpp. Also, saving for round the world trip. Also, Im good with finding travel deals that makes using points stupid. And most importantly, I don't earn points when I use points :))
OP are you me in an AU
What does 5/24 mean?
Thx
Probably bc of the landing it had on fishbowl
Do u pay the annual fee upfront, or after a year?
@pwc after the first statement closes
I don't get it, someone explain....it's a credit card you pay a $600 annual fee for?
Any other questions?
4/24 at application or 5/24?
Is the $300 travel credit applicable for just the first two calendar years or every calendar year?
@D3: Was 4/24 at application. I literally saved the 5th for the Freedom Unlimited but thanks God did not pull the trigger earlier. Now I just need to downgrade my CSP to FU and Im set
@D4: every CALENDAR year (thats why if you open it now, you get the $300 twice, one for 2016, one for 2017). My labor day trip should take care of the first $300 credit
Can Sapphire Reserve be downgraded later on to regular Sapphire?
