He interviewed for a M role in
consulting for customer marketing.

He does have a wide skill set and the
recruiter said it was all positive
feedback, just have to find out
where to put him (on the team he
interviewed for or another he is
qualified for).Deloitte

Strategy& fish - i’m currently recruiting for org strategy. Ive talked to associates (in the healthcare practice) and theyve mentioned that it doesnt matter whether youre in corp strategy, org strategy, etc and that you’re pretty much pooled by industry when it comes to staffing.
Can someone confirm this? Also, what do you expect the restructuring to look like?

Have been on the other side of deals from them, I think they’re mostly ex-Big 4 guys, do mostly middle market deals, comp is better than Big 4 on average but is more variable.
My friend (gay) joined them from Big4. He left after a few months because he was having a hard time meshing with his direct team’s culture. Said it was very “bro-ey” and had difficulty relating to them / found his team to be less willing to engage with him.
I would said it is likely not indicative of culture overall. Just his personal experience.
