I’m thinking about leaving technical accounting and maybe going into a more chill role like internal audit or maybe gov accounting . Just curious as to what roles generally have better wlb in the accounting world? Thanks in advance for any advice/feedback. Not that I’m not willing to put in the work, but I just can’t do dusk to dawn every day (weekends sometimes included) long term.

Is it common to negotiate software engineer salary at smaller companies? I know it’s common at FAANG, but what about for companies with around 200 engineers? The bgv team is now asking for bank statement and offer letter .
After requesting i got experience letter but i dont have anything else to prove that i worked there.
I have not lied but i am not able to prove .
Please help me what should i do in such scenario.would i be terminated .

Big4 has clear trajectory and interesting work.

There is an opportunity that I’m currently interviewing for that is very interesting to me. I’m interviewing two other places but I’m not responding to LinkedIn emails for other positions. The other positions don’t interest me as much.
