I can get upto 35 LPA if I switch. (Have offer in hand from Big4)
Only thing that stops me is WLB is great over here which I won't get in big4
From what I have seen, salary starts to stagnate for GRC folks after they reach a certain level. Usually 30L+ and M+ designation. After that it's more about your managerial and sales skills in consulting rather than your core cyber GRC skills.
Once you are at that level it's important to concentrate on networking and getting more business by creating a brand for yourself. If you cannot or don't want to do that then best to switch to industry after you reach these levels. Industry is also paying well for GRC folks currently.
I actually started my career with small/ mid size consultancies so my pay was low but the responsibilities and learning was very good. Mid size companies have flat structures so you generally get more visibility and responsibilities across levels and domains.
I have been working in big tech companies (Wipro and Accenture) since last 4 years and the pay is much better (especially after covid) with good WLB but from a career perspective there's very limited scope for rapid growth over here. Switching jobs pays more dividends than sticking with the same company.
I envy people who had 1 to 2 YOE when the pandemic hit. I think they got good breaks very quickly and are now sitting in a comfortable position salary wise. But their challenge would be what next because it would be hard to get good offers now unless the economic environment changes in the west.
Same question, wanted to know the inputs from the community

Good pay for your experience.
Commenting here to gain more views so that I can check later.
I guess in GRC role certification plays an important role. Because one of my friend has only 2 YOE (that will be completed in July) and has a CCTC of 3.48 LPA. Now he's having an offer with approx 15 LPA (just he's having ISO 27K LA Certification)
Yes
Bachelor's in ECE
MBA
Did 1.5 years in random profiles
Moved to big 4 as an analyst - 5lpa
2nd year - 6.3lpa
Same year - 11lpa (same big 4)
Got my certs ISO 27k, azure security, ceh
3rd year - 14 lpa
Moved Australia with 110k+ salary
Prepping for cissp and planning to go over 150k+ within a year. Let's see how it goes.
From my experience, you'll have to ask your worth outright else you not gonna get pennies.
Toe 4 years relevant
Cheers!
