I have a third round interview this Thursday, but after I sent my availability, I booked a flight for work that is causing a problem. The interview ended up scheduled for 3:30-4:15, and I'm supposed to be on a 5pm flight out of LGA. Is there a reliably quiet place at LGA to do the interview (I don't have lounge access)? I got an offer to join a major company after I graduate. In 3 months they will run a background check. 8-9 years ago I had a drug charge that was DISMISSED. I was in an abusive relationship back then but sought therapy and I've been sober for many years. Do I need to worry about the dismissed charge coming back to haunt me? I've heard in Texas employers only look back 7 years, and I've also heard since it was dismissed it wouldn't come up at all. Any advice?
