Thoughts on Transfix? Anyone invested?
Newbie to investing and never invested in a company that went through a reverse stock split.
In theory, I understand the market value should increase but I’m not seeing this reflected in the price and naturally my book value/ share is very disappointing.
A) When should I anticipate the stock appreciation to occur?
B) What’s the next move for companies that do this? Issue more shares?
TIA!

Hate general tax and I don’t enjoy being generalized. I like financial services a it’s a complex speciality.
Compliance but I’m a manager so I do structuring, M&A, tax planning, and deal due diligence, etc. My client calls Deloitte their in house tax admin.
I’m FS international tax but I came from a different firm where there was just international (no FS specific group) and did all client types there. FS is super boring to me. Same deals, transactions, structures over and over.
I tried to transfer to general tax before, wasn’t successful but was able to switch out of the partnership compliance side of things.
So I was on an FoF client when I was a staff 1 and basically all I did was dealing with underlying k-1 and printing k-1s with garbage tools like PF. After that busy season I requested to switch to general tax for more corporate tax work but I was asked to talk to the corporate tax people in FSO first which went well so I have been doing that since.
Sorry for asking since I am coming from a different big4. What is general tax vs FS tax?
For EY, FS tax is FSO, financial tax focusing on PE, hedges and etc. General tax is anything other than FS dealing with "real" companies for lack of better terms.
