Guys, Any idea when will we get hike and promotions ? My manager was like it’ll happen and it’ll reflect in September pay.

Coming to promotion I heard that it’ll happen only after the hike is done. Maybe after 1-2 month. Is that true ? Or is he just lying ?

I work as an AGM in a busy restaurant. Been working there for just over a year, and haven't had a single raise. I now only make 0.50 cents more than even the lowest paid shift lead but I am doing a lot more work. I'm no longer satisfied with these conditions. Should I try to negotiate a raise or look for other opportunities?

What would you do? 34 years old. Offered partnership in hometown local firm 7+ years in the making that offers opportunity to earn 150-200k+ per year + benefits. Also just received unsolicited offer to be in house at young small company that will start at 200k and offer equity totaling payouts of low 7 figures over next five years but requires me to be away four nights/wk 2 hrs from home. May be able to work remote 2 days eventually. Life span of company is 5ish years. Married w/ 3 kids under 5
