I got offer in Bangalore FIS and my husband got an offer with one big company in Hyderabad. Both companies are currently WFH only but in future, I might have to consider moving to Hyderabad. Fis doesn't have office in Hyderabad so I was wondering if I can ask permanent WFH later. I guess I will be put in fis payment solution.

In tcs they have too many projects where skilled resources are required but they are not getting
If you are experienced and doing well in project , and by chance your project gets end or tcs lost it.. they will allocate you to another project under same BAU even before getting released from your current project.
So don’t worry about layoff at least in tcs
It’s my personal experience, and got allocated to new project 2 months before of releasing from existing project, even my all team members ( around 100+) got allocated under same BAU even before release.. except fresher one who wanted to change technology
And in new project daily i am interviewing internal resources but not finding good fit

TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, HCL... these all are equally secure in service firms... But, the best thing about TCS is you can spend your own sweet time on bench!

PIP me kabhi daalta hai kya TCS? like if we arent able to perform as per expectation in project?
If someone is not performing well they are assigning to new project instead of PIP
IF you are daily fighting with team lead and manager or if you taking leaves of weeks without intimation they will remove you from project instead of PIP

Btw how is work life balance at Tcs, do we get 2 way cabs and will there be NSA .. As during interview manager told it would be evening shift..

Yes sir due to financial issues at home and fear of layoffs, for shorter term a year r 2 want to switch to a company where there is job security...
