Disney Streaming Services I completed my interview process with DSS early last week, and was reached out by recruiter that all rounds were strong hires, and they are extending an offer. We set a time to talk on Friday about the offer. However, the announcement of targeted hiring freeze happened on Friday. I was ghosted with no call. What should I expect now? Would I still have chance to be offered?
It's been over 5 weeks since my final interview with Deloitte for M role. I've had a few email exchanges with the recruiter with a standard response that 'partners are reviewing their resource requirements and we will update you ASAP'. The recruiter always adds it was a positive interview.
I don't understand why it is taking so long to arrive at a decision? Is it normal at Deloitte UK?

Only with permission of the responsible partner else you are breaching confidentiality agreements and they shouldn’t trust you anyway.
Surely you can find a partner who will let you share a scrubbed doc from a totally different industry.
What are they checking anyway? They could give you a 6wk probation if they don’t want to trust your skills
When I was exiting McK and interviewing with an alum, they asked for example past work product. I said no, assuming that it was an integrity check but then didn't get the job.
A little more on the nose than the OP's situation but if they are asking for past confidential work-product that seems like a place that might generally be pushing ethical boundaries.

I would offer to create something new for them. Ask them to give you a prompt that would speak to the type of task for this role.
