I really think that can be dangerous for most of us. Unfortunately people “get” physical disabilities more than mental ones, and even people with physical ones are subject to illegal and unfair treatment.
I believe lawyers are some of the biggest violators of employment laws. Truth is they won’t care the reason for the delays. They’ll probably start papering your file setting you up to have a lower performance review to save themselves from the possibility of a claim.
Unless you work for the federal government, I don’t recommend it, and even then make sure you e researched the exact accommodation you want and thought about the argument for whether it’s “reasonable.”
There’s no point to disclosing unless you are asking for an accommodation. So you’d need to think about what accommodation would be helpful to you and if it is actually reasonable.
OP—Did you ever go through with this? I’m struggling at work and was considering disclosing to get an accommodation but I’m. It really sure what even to ask for. Some colleagues I’ve privately brought this up with had the same sentiment as the other 2 commenters
