Has anyone actually fought a non-competet, or am I just supposed to sit on my hands for a year and hope the market doesn't crash? I lost a offer because my current firm is threatening to enforce a 12-month non-compete for a mid-level associate role. It’s clearly a scare tactic to stop turnover, but the new firm doesn't want the legal headache and pulled the offer this morning.

Hi Fishes, I've 2.25 Years of experience in SAP Basis, but I've lost interest in the same due to not receiving proper training, inability to practice on customer's system and shifts. I have a finance degree from UGA, but all of my experience (3.5 years) is in sales (tech and real estate), so no relevant internships unfortunately. I need help figuring out if I’m being underpaid. I’m working in real estate private equity and I focus on fund models and property valuations. I’m currently at base $80k and 20% bonus. On top of that I have 5 years experience and a masters in finance. I’m good at my job and receive positive reviews from everyone.
