Hi, I'm new to the tech industry. I interviewed with TikTok for an "insights analyst" role and was told they are a title-less company. Is that true? I have about 7 YOE and "analyst" sounds like an entry level role. I don't want it to hurt my future opportunities. Also, what is the average compensation for these types of role? I honestly don't know what employers are looking for in candidates applying for analytic positions anymore. Although I currently work as a business/data analyst, I'm starting to think I'm actually not one based on the conversations I've had. Is it common that for first round someone on a higher level appears to take interview? He was quite impressed and he told me several times.
