Why would a luxury watch brand make/sell connected or smart watches? What is the business reason for it? To me it just kills the brand value. Context, i have 10+ years in advertising experience, and founded a startup in 2020 (with a Sr Developer as cofounder) but had to drop the startup for personal reasons (moving to another country) and i really liked building a product and getting technical.
So any advice would help.

I’m working a internal consulting type of cost engineer role and is seems like a good position to gain skills in that could apply to becoming a PM in the future. I have also worked in design engineering and engineering analysis roles. Have a BS in mechanical engineering and a MS in Data Analytics Engineering.
