Nagarro offered 18LPA. Initially I told HR for 22 but he mentioned 18 into their internal portal to their senior so after clearing all interview rounds I got 18.
When I asked the HR, he told me to accept it for now and bring the counter offer letter so they can revise offer letter.
But now they declined. Weird.

Usually the only thing that can be said is you worked from day XX to day YY. Even the reason for separation can't usually be discussed. If you signed separation paperwork, there was likely a clause that said you agree to say nothing disparaging about the firm and the firm will treat it as a layoff versus a firing and will not say anything disparaging about you.

Fired or laid off? If laid off no worries. If fired most companies will not release that info anyway.
Is everything ok EY? Talk to your coach or partner if anything is wrong.
Only issue if firm fires someone the current employees cannot provide recommendation in some firms ...
@DD - the firm can't prevent all employees from from recommending the individual. HR might prevent it on official letterhead or something, though.
