I am getting a Analyst designation at delloite for a 1.7 years experience of it experience.
Should I try to get the consultant designation as the salary range will also open a bit as they r giving me 9.5. Should I just wait a few more months to get 2 years experience and apply the consultant position.

I'm curious what the average salary is for an Associate Agent. I'm licensed & do everything after the sale is made as well as refer new business. I have 14 years in the industry but have been at the current company less than a year, so I know that plays a part as well. Anyone in a like-position by chance?State Farm Allstate Travelers

Progressive is a difficult company to get into - during new hire training they mentioned statistic of 1 of 100 applicants get interviewed (or hired?). I don’t recall the exact stat, but I know it’s a highly competitive company to be hired into. With that said, from my vantage point - most hiring is internal right now and they are communicating it to us that way as well.
When your time does come - be extra prepared and personable for your interview! Progressive is big on culture and I believe that they hire with that in mind.
This right here. I tried for 6 years before I got in- it’s been worth it for me. Don’t give up, prepare your STAR answers, and make sure those answers are strong
I have heard we have a hiring freeze and at this time only considering lateral moves or promptions.
Yes. I recently got 2/3 jobs that I applied for within the past two months. One I found on linked in and the other , a recruiter found me. I got a friend hired too with a third company with the help of a Recruiter. So yes there is hope and there are jobs out there. Believe and know that and begin again. Search on linked in and fill out your skills , then show that you are open to work and they will find you.
Any idea when that started?
Thank you for your frank reply, I would almost tell you I don’t think there’s a company out there that you can trust today I’ve seen too many scenarios by employees so I think you just have to go into a business relationship with them knowing that that’s the case and watching out for your own interests.
Thank you, everyone for that feedback. My only other question is are these roles that are posted on their website externally actual roles or are they ghost jobs?
I worked for Progressive for five years, left and tried to go back. I applied over 7 times. Got an interview after having a referral and still got turned down. I stopped letting it get me down and looked elsewhere. It’s their loss.
Have you networked with people in the firm?
I have a friend who works there, they have referred me. Every application I put in their name is on it. It has not gotten me even a screening interview.
My friend said to schedule a networking call with Flo and Jamie.
Someone from progressive there now let us know if hiring freezes are for only sections of the company, I have a friend who works there. She works in the electronic tracking section of the company, but she is a front line employee. They are supposed to be on a hiring freeze, our other sections on a hiring freeze as wellor is it the whole company?
My friend has given me a referral. I’ve done well over 15 postings long before this particular hiring free came in. These are for jobs I am fully qualified for even including Frontline insurance, which I am overqualified for, can’t get in.
I am im CRM.
CRM Customer Relationship Management group, which comprises the company's Contact Center group (Sales and Delivery), as well as the Customer Experience, Systems Experience, and Workforce Management groups; Customer Relationship Management organization, overseeing the company's direct sales, customer service, customer experience design, and in-house agency.
Basically all phones, sales and services, agency sales, I think accounting is included somehow bc inalways see accounting listed in our stuff, and the customer experience design part makes me think of marketing jobs I've seen listed, not 100 sure though
Yes, lots of talk on the hiring freeze in our organization throughout 2026. Not sure about other organizations but claims may not be frozen...seems like they are still hiring.
