What is the culture like, type of work and reputation of Capco in the Data & Analytics space?
I have some good ex colleagues who moved over there and also looked up on LinkedIn and see lots of seemingly smart and accomplished people in their D&A team in the UK.
I'll ask my ex colleagues too, but wanted to see if people here have any opinion or information on this too.
TIA
Hello all, I have an offer from Quantiphi and another famous travel company which is building a technical arm for themselves. Both the companies are offering same compensation. HRs are calling for offer acceptance. I am leaning towards Quantiphi as the culture is well known to me.
But I have to decide soon. Should I accept both the offers and then decline one at the time of joining. I am new to this and find this a little unethical. Can someone help?

The negative is loads of Indian leadership that is prone to micromanagement and unprofessionalism. It is also a brand dilution. You're limiting chances of moving to industry or tech in future due to significant negative perception.
The positive is better pay and a title jump as you mentioned.
Thanks so much, it’s insightful and a big factor to consider
I left Cap for ACN. Adored Cap so much, but had to move on because the pay wasn’t great. ACN pay is better, benefits are better, the work we do for clients is bigger and better in my opinion. The work is harder at ACN. cap was pretty chill tbh and the fact that it’s a smaller company means better relationships. I would move back in a heartbeat IF the pay was drastically better
I joined Cap 10 years ago. I lasted 6 months before realising that the cultural fit would not work. I went on to join Avanade which was a curious blend of Accenture and Cap - given that so many ex Cap people were then in Avanade! I liked the Avanade culture!
Many Accenture people bounce out of Cap after a short stay. A handful have made a successful transition.
Of course - my info is old and I moved to the infrastructure services part of Cap which was really struggling and may have coloured my thoughts.
Capgemini will give you a good salary to start, but raises are like 0% to 6% a year, typically 2%, with no yearly raise negotiations, so start at a high number you would be comfortable at for several years. There is emphasis on relying heavily on offshore developers and they have their own set of managers. We still have a high amount of respect for people across the spectrum of race, gender, age, and ability, so if you're not into being respectful, you won't stay long. There is a huge push for continuous learning, mainly because the majority of new hires are campus hires from partnering colleges, but it also doesn't hurt to be an informed consultant, rather than one with stale knowledge. Last point to note is that projects are usually longer term, unlike most consultancies -- expect to participate in doing the suggested work, not just leaving after suggesting what should be done.
Overall, it's a decent company to work for, but it's also can feel like other jobs do -- soul crushing -- at times. You'll always need to find your work-life balance and maintain your time and personal boundaries anywhere you go.
Good luck in whatever decisions you make and I hope you find a place that you feel welcomed!
I wasn’t aware they paid that much better, perhaps I’m out of touch though.
