Has anyone ever got an interview in the private sector or with a gov contractor where they didn’t meet EVERY single one of the “required” qualifications? Like, let’s say you meet 5/6 of the “required” qualifications, but are 1 year short of experience on the YOE required. Did you ever manager to get an interview or even get an offer? Or are firms usually extremely strict about you meeting every single one of the “required” qualifications, and only flexible on the “preferred” qualifications?

Is this normal? Have only 2 interviews for my on-site and then would have another “informal chat” with VP if I pass on-site before sending to HC, haven’t read of anyone else with this experience

I just completed the interview process at CGI, the HR called thereafter saying that I've cleared all the rounds and they'd like to give me an offer. They also sent a couple of mails for required documents. But I am yet to receive the offer letter, is this usual?

Hi all, Currently holding an offer of 14 lpa from Neudesic and have my 2nd round of interview from Bitwise tomorrow. Before the first round at Bitwise HR mentioned that they can give 16 lpa fixed. I’m interviewing for a marketing manager role at a company based in SF. I’m genuinely excited about the role and the company but we’ve yet to discuss salary. I expect to be asked at some point, but my research has given me a VERY broad range. So I’m here to do a bit more research. I had to go to the doctor due to the anxiety and stress I was carrying since the last 2 months. It has affected my health.

I am finishing up a project and I’m trying to document what I’ve done for my resume. What are some good metrics for someone who mainly created user stories, created dashboards, interacted with the client and developed statistical models? I have an active secret clearance, BS in strategic intelligence, working on a masters in cybersecurity, and taking Security+ in December. No work experience in cyber, just my education and bootcamp course for Security+. Should I still apply for job that want 2-5+ years cyber experience and/or an active TS clearance?
