Has anyone flown cross country with a small pet and willing to offer general advice/tips? I have a 12 pound dog that is in great health but gets anxiety on car rides. Because of that I am worried what a 5hr flight would do. I am moving from the west to east cost next year and considering having her fly with me but want to make sure I take the proper precautions. Should I have her fast the night before to avoid accidents on plane? Provide a calming aid? I'd be flying into LGA. Thanks in advance!

Random question - My dad took a whole life insurance policy for me when I was 15. My firm has applied for my L1A visa. If that gets denied, my plan is to travel to Canada and re enter US immediately on B1/B2 visa (already have valid B1/B2 stamp) so that I'll get time to figure out things here in the US (sell my stuff, handle my bank accts etc). Im a RN and took on a new role working in Home Health. Desperately want to get into healthcare strategy consulting. 13 years of healthcare clinical experience including project work. MBA. But keep getting told by recruiters that I don't have enough experience to be a Consultant or Manager but that I have too much experience to enter in every level such as a Senior Associate.
