Yes and always Deloitte rates. The last time the hotel manager said Deloitte specifically asked them to start doing that.
I’ve used it successfully many times as well but happened at Tampa Marriott and Austin W. I was able to talk my way out of it in Austin but unsuccessful in Tampa. 🤣

I told them our badges don't have logos on them. Showing them something with company branding like an insurance card, a name tag, etc alongside photo ID has usually worked.
Westin St. Francis in SF is the only place Ive ever been asked but it’s happened a few times now
Yes, I carry business cards. Hotel front desk employees are probably the only people who have ever taken an interest in seeing my business card
