This is actually true huh? I only heard of stuff like this when I saw the first episode of Suits. This is the exact premise. The major disadvantage is that impostor syndrome will set in and for good measure since that person never actually used their knowledge to gain that position
It's happening rampantly. And guess what, a company's ability to win projects depends a lot on how many certified folks they can show. So it's win-win for employee and company.
Nothing worst can happen except such candidate will start leading their career with fake experience and then proxy interviews and then struggling to perform in the job.
Okay if you are only looking for such certifications then there’s no harm. Everyone these days are anyway 25x certified
You'll be exposed sooner or later. Unless you can master everything overnight. It's better to start from the bottom than cheat your way to the top.
