Hi all. I am trying to determine if I am being compensated fairly. I am a tax manager (about to start my second year as manager) and have been with EY since staff 1. I was promoted to manager in June 2020 (during covid) and received a 7.5% raise. The class above me has mentioned they received much higher raises during their promotion years. My base salary is now approx. 97K. Any insights would be extremely helpful. Thanks!

For me and others at my agency, once promised they did come through, but six months to a year after.
Thanks for the replies. Really appreciate the context and advice.
It will also depend on the % you are asking for, it usually takes longer if it’s more than 15/20 %.
For anyone following this post....17% raise and promotion just came through. With two weeks to spare in Q1.
Trying to decide if I should wait it out or see the writing on the wall and jump ship now. Thanks for any insight you might have.
Yes, but it wasn’t until July. My GCD was a great manager and always felt very genuine, so it was easier for me to trust him as he kept me in the loop.
Worked for one of the companies 5 years, no bonus and one small raise. Plus sounds like a sinking ship with all the mergers.
Yes. Playing the waiting game now. Has been approved and gone through finance. Just waiting on hr and then the fun of negotiating the raise if it is sub par
